Apple has just announced the first iPod/Car tie in with BMW. Using a jack to your existing iPod and buttons on your steering wheel you can sit in traffic and listen to all 10,000 of your favourite old tunes by the time you get home.

According to Trendcentrals’ newsletter of July 23rd more car manufacturers are hooking up with iPod. As a promotion for their X-Type car, Jaguar is offering visitors to their X-Type website a chance to win a limited edition black iPod.
