Elio Fiorucci’s Underwear

Elio Fiorucci, he of the 70’s buffalo 70 jeans fame which inspired Gloria and Calvin down the same jeans path has been inspiring others again, this time with Wellies, Galoshes or Rain Boots if you prefer which he first recreated with rainbow colours in the 60’s.

Thomas Pink, Paul Smith, Issey Miyake and Marc Jacobs all have their own versions out this season but its Emilio Pucci who we at PSFK think has developed this into a first by taking his prints onto the snowboot.

However like underwear if worn in the proper conditions the snowboot is not meant to be seen. (Its under the snow of course!)

Unlike underwear the snowboot is worn on the outside, expect to see them as the new Ug next summer.
