Luxury Brands Begin To Consider Online Ads
It’s early days yet - and, we know, we’ve been on about luxury brands and the web for donkey’s - but Porsche’s new ad campaign may be the start of a new trend for luxury brands to use the web as an advertising medium, New Media Age reports.
That’s fine PSFK thinks (and it gives us the chance to put a pic of a lovely car on the site) - but what about some intelligent use of the web rather than an old school clunk and click approach to the bloody thing??!! Using the web for advertising is like buying a Porsche becuase it goes fast. What about considering the web as a customer relationship management tool or even better : as a brand experience mechanism like Prada does.
