Will we ever stop writing about Apple’s iPod? We don’t know. With over 50% of the ‘walkman’ market in the US we thought they’d sit back now and watch a raft of MP3 players try feebily to compete. But no, they go on and create a new improved iPod that should launch in November or December reportedly.
The new 60GB ‘photo’ iPod will be capable of storing 20,000 music tracks and 25,000 photos and album artwork will be displayed on screen when it’s available for a selected track. The new iPod will pack Toshiba’s new 60GB 1.8-inch hard drive, a 2-inch color liquid crystal display, iPhoto synchronization, audio/video-out capabilities into a box just 2mm thicker than the current 40G iPod and will sell for $499.

I was wondering when iPod would bring this added capability out. If you take lots of photos like me and haven’t got round to buying a specific storage device yet, you can purchase the Belkin Media Reader that allows you to upload your photos to your beloved iPod. They have lots of other great add ons too. http://www.belkin.co.uk
