Boston, Denver or San Antonio are the latest cities to offer vacationers ‘cell phone tours’ or walking tours where the guide is a recording reached by phone. According to USA Today it’s "one of the hottest trends in the tourism business" with more than half a dozen destinations nationwide creating tours since August, and dozens more are on the way.
If it’s so ‘hot’, why do we feel so bored reporting it though … maybe if there were spicier versions: the dark side of Amsterdam, the underbelly of Rio, the alternative debauchery of Warsaw. Now those would be proper fun!
