iPhone

IphoneRumour has it that Apple has been showing off a prototype for an iPhone. Engadget suggests that Motorola is one of the potential manufacturing partners – but PSFK has seen a mock up for an ad in iCreate Magazine earlier this year with Sony Ericsson as the partner with the sub-headline: ‘Something Borrowed, Something New’.

  1. This looks way too good to be true. Oh I wish it were true.

  2. Is it possible to tell us what all the words are at the bottom of the image?

  3. That font in this poster seems to be the OLD apple font. I’m not exactely sure which one is it, but apple has been using the newer smoother font for years now. They wouldn’t use their old font for an ad like this.
words on the bottom say: Say hello to you iPhone

  4. If you click on the ‘Possible Ad’ link you are taken to an image that shows more of the poster.

  5. oooh, ahhh. I own photoshop too… Sorry, this is interesting. However, you know how hush hush Apple are- they’d never pre-release ads months in advance. Would they? See : http://www.studio2f.com/misc/2003/06/05720_megs_transfered.php

  6. The “ad” is just a mock-up created by iCreate magazine as part of their wishlist of possible new Apple products. Apple had nothing to do with it.

  7. Oh…This really makes the mobile phone market exciting.

The more I think about this the more I want it to happen.

In the UK we are getting lots of Hardware entries at all levels of the market from Samsung and LG to Vertu with their £10k phones. This shakes it all up, Apple are probably is one of a few companies in the ability to gather market share virtually overnight. Would envision that the other hardware brands will be watching this with big eye goggles
