A newsprint magazine launched by a collaboration of NYC based creatives will focus on New York fashion, art and ‘arty fashiony music’ and will be distributed solely through boutiques, fashion showrooms and art galleries.
Darren Crawforth, creative director at The Fold and co-owner of SITW told PSFK about the team:
"got a great team assembled. eddie erannan, brit who used to be creative director @ fader, now at trace; sarah bronilla, canadian lass who used to be at vice; phil knott, unhinged brit photographer; toni torres, creative director of big, spanish; julie ragolia, great stylist; ernesto caivano, demented argentine artist; and me.
the first issue is shaping up nicely. we’ve got a shoot with casey spooner and a conversation between him and kia from as four, who’s also featured. also, a nice piece on the artist dustin yellin with a conversation with ernest caivano. a piece about a new clothing line called DICK. and a few other bit. should be sexy. more than likely will have some sort of naughty little, liver damaging release party."
‘Canadian lass’ Sara Bronilla added,
"There hasn’t been a magazine exploring that intersection quite so closely for a few years, and I believe that what’s going on in fashion and art inthe city right now totally warrants it."
