We all careabout the virtues of recycling and the impact our purchasing decision have on ‘mother earth’ – well now we can calm your conscience (at least on this subject) by purchasing the latest DVD Player from Sony:
"with more than 50% of the Sony DVP-NS955 is made of vegetable-based materials, if you got a particularly severe attack of the munchies one evening, you could always give it a bit of a gnaw. Hilarious joshing aside, what this actually means is that we’re well on the way to a fully biodegradable DVD player. It’s got DivX support, progressive scan via component video and SACD playback as well. At just over £200, it’s on the expensive side, but you do get to feel all smug and superior if you dish out the extra cash."
Other ‘organic’ purchases:
- Howies – 100% natural cotton;
- Vegetarian Shoes – "a treat for your feet if you don’t eat meat";
- Innocent Drinks – no artifical colours or preservatives, just pure fruit…;
..and something else to look forward too: Biodegradable Mobile Phones
