MTV Video Launch Looks Overdrive Already

Networks has announced the beta launch of a broadband video service called MTV Overdrive. The service "brings you the latest news, music, live
performances, short form shows and music videos directly to your PC."

The service is ad-supported service, and involves downloading a "Overdrive
Video Optimizer" a desktop app which works with IE and PC
platform.

Erm, hang on. IE and PC only? So no Firefox and no Mac? Looks like MTV are still a little out of sync with the kids! Let’s hope someone uploads the content onto Google, eh?
