Veteran DJ’s in the UK are backing a new website that sells radio shows as podcasts. Costing between 49p to 99p each, the ‘podshows’ will feature original content and not already broadcasted shows (something that Radio 1 and Virgin Radio currently offer).
Ten shows will be made available initially, with further podcasts to follow spanning comedy, sport and specialist interests. Podshows strapline is "radio – where you want it, when you want it."
"Soon everybody will have the technology to get these shows and consume them," says Founder DJ Wes Butters.
