While ABI Technology delivered a report recently that told mobile operators that Cell TV was going to be huge, Jupiter have fought back with a report suggesting that Cell TV will only be big if the content is free. According to Jupiter, only 19% of the folk they surveyed would pay for Cell TV.
The Mobile Technology Blog has an interesting analysis of the two cases. PSFK wonders if maybe the savior of Cell TV will have to be advertising.
omg! Maybe the mobile phone will be the savior of the 30 second spot!

Thanks Guy. And look at this news on PaidContent.org
Ad-Supported Music Videos To Mobiles: Conceptually, this is a very important development in the mobile content world…SmartVideo Technologies has teamed with the Digital Music Video (DMV) Network to launch an “advertising-supported video channel that features the top artists from virtually all the major labels”. The channel will be programmed by DMV and streamed to mobile phones, so consumers won’t be able to choose the music they receive but will be able to choose a genre, including Top 40, urban, dance, country, and other music genres.
