NEW YORK FIRM ANNOUNCES CLEARANCE BY NYSDMV TO REGISTER ELECTRIC SCOOTERS
Illinois distributor of street legal electric scooters and ETS receive clearance from NYSDMV to register and license in New York
MT. VERNON, New York, June 21, 2005 On June 21, 2005 Electric Transportation Solutions (ETS) of Mt. Vernon, N.Y., and Electric Vehicle Technologies of Skokie, Illinois received official approval from the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles (NYSDMV) that the EVT 168 and 4000E have been certified to be registered and obtain license plates in the State of New York. ETS and EVT were working for the past several months with NYSDMV to receive the necessary approvals to enable the electric scooters to become registered in the State.
ETS launched a virtual department store of electric vehicles in mid-October, 2004. In addition to its website, http://www.electrictransport.net, ETS offers consulting services aimed at ultimately supplying electric vehicles with power from the wind and sun.
