Last December, PSFK predicted in our 2005 Trends Report that Apple will enter the satellite radio market with their iPod. Now, Chairman Steve Jobs has said that support for the radio-like
programs downloaded from the Internet will be included in the next
version of the iPod software, iTunes, due within 60 days. PSFK Tipster Nichelle says,

"Connecting the dots, I see that iPods will have satellite radio.
Since, the next version of the iTunes will be even more user-friendly
to catch podcasts, and some of the satellite radio and other radio
shows are making mp3s on the shows, then it will be easy to have some
radio programs on your iPos.  I am already using the more updated
version of ipodder so that I can listen to podcasts like Richard Vobes,
Coverville but I also get podcasts of WNYC’s Brian Lehrer show and
On the Media."
