The word’s "first ever all-glass undersea restaurant" has opened at a Hilton in the Maldives. Diners will
sit five meters below the waves of the Indian Ocean, surrounded by a
"vibrant" coral reef and encased in clear acrylic offering diners
270-degrees of panoramic underwater views. The designers are currently planting a coral garden on the reef to add to the views of the rays, sharks and other little fishies that won’t be ending up on your plate. Today, anyway.

Fabulous, but seems like a response to the Burj’s underwater restaurant, which is only accessible by submarine: http://www.burj-al-arab.com/dining/
And even craptacular NYC club Suba got there first (www.subanyc.com) with their water room.
That said, Viva la In Situ dining. I say let’s not stop at underwater seafood restaurants. How about Steak Houses in meadows? Could be a very nice attraction for a hotel property with extensive grounds.
