Adding A Little Secret In Your Graphics

Much speculation has been made over the imagery used on the cover of ColdPlay’s new album XY. Fans have been scrambling to decode it and newspapers have been speculating on a hidden meaning.

Design Observer says no matter what they hidden meaning, “a striking cover that has succeeded in exciting widespread comment — something that hasn’t happened much since David Bowie donned a dress for the original cover of The Man Who Sold the World and McCartney-is-dead theorists subjected the Beatles’ Abbey Road sleeve to forensic examination in the late 1960s.cover.”

Meanwhile, the current X-Box 360 advertising includes messages written in a secret code hidden in the graphics and without revealing how the code works, hardcore X-Box fans have, we are told, decoded all the messages already.
