The home-furnishing giant, IKEA, is thinking small with the announcement of its plans to focus its development on the high-street.
IKEA’s plan to open 10 high-street stores across the UK in 3 years is seen as a reponse to the ongoing planning issues and oppositions to proposed warehouse-retail outlets.
Although, the new site in Hillingdon, outer London, will contain an Ikea store and 240 one and two-bed flats plus a public square with facilities for other shops.
