Researchers Forecast We’ll Still be Podcasting In 2010

Huh? A reseach company in Texas believes that there will still be something called ‘Podcasting’ in 2010. The Diffusion Group say that 75% of portable music player owners are expected to demand podcasts by that date!

PSFK’s reaction: podcasting as we know it could be a short term fad. Despite the noise about podcasting earlier this year made by the press, we feel it hasn’t yet been embraced by the general public. By 2010 we will be enjoying different mobile media consumption. Video will be far more intergral and wireless will change the way we download or stream (more likely) content.
