		<description>Piers, I agree with many of the points you make in your piece.. but you never touched on one part that makes curated consumption what it is today-- the &quot;curators&quot; of said consumption are consumers themselves, in one way or anther.  They&#039;re trend-setting consumers, super-consumers, with the word of mouth power to even tip products into success.  I&#039;d agree that the major marketing jargon of today is &quot;the consumers are in control&quot;, but many of those &quot;consumers&quot; are infact curators of their own circle of friends, markert niche, or what not.  The line between a true consumer in marketing 101, and a consumer that many times unconsciously curates a following is too unclear to just straight up call &#039;curated consumption&#039; a lie.</description>
