I4U points us to an interesting article in the WSJ which suggests that Apple may have found a big enough reason to enter the portable video player market: Portable MTV.

The Wall Street Journal reports that Apple seems to be in negotiations with music heavy weights to negotiate over paid music video downloads via iTunes. I4U says:

"That it is the WSJ reporting about this rumor, makes it more than a rumor. Apple is of course not talking. Selling music videos could be definitely huge. Also because MTV sucks at showing music videos these days, because of all the reality TV."
