Tracking Trends Using BlogPulse
BlogPulse is a blog search engine with over 14 million blogs scanned. The search functionality is useful, but the site provides a number of other tools that provide insights into the broader environment of the blogosphere. The BlogPulse trend tool lets you compare the relative popularity of two or more words over time , for example beer vs. wine vs. vodka. It’s an interesting tool to gauge popularity as expressed by the blogosphere especially if used a s a competitive intelligence tool.
