Footwear News has an interesting article with the Jason Bass the founder of JB Classics.  Always into customisation, Jason set up the company in 2002 whilst still in college. Because of the small size of the company JB Classics can react quickly to trends and get new concepts to market before the Nikes and Adidas’ of the world have blinked.

JB also shun the traditional marketing of shoe brands, instead relying on a network of urban websites, magazines and retailers. Read the full text of the interview here.
