Media Ideas: Truce Magazine, Germany

By Guy Brighton on August 9, 2005

Truce Magazine is a decent arts magazine published out of Germany that’s about “Culture, Arts and Life.” Volume III will be out on the market this week and is dedicated to “some of the most moving geniuses to date” including Sheldon James Tanner, Louise Bourgeois and Gered Mankowitz.

In regards to advertising opportunities, Stefan Jermann the publisher told IF, “In general, we accept advertising that pursues the kind of quality we are looking for. I believe, however that we attract companies that are creative as well with their advertising, which is rare to find. We currently do have Carhartt as an advertiser which I think is the most commercial client and they do great stuff.

On the other hand, I believe, we are interesting for museums, galleries, art fairs, cultural foundations, but we could also be of interest to private banks that invest in art or companies that want to expand in this field.”
