Star Wars Hits The Small Screen

George Lucas announced this week, the animated Clone Wars television series will be made at his CGI studios in Singapore.  Lucas also confirmed the development of a live-action series for television that’s also based on the Star Wars films.

“I have hundreds of projects I want to do, and I’m running out of time, I’m afraid to say. It’s a different way of dealing with filmmaking. It’s not going to be too much longer before people look back at films and say: ‘That was so 19th century.’”

Who said television was dead?
