Wakesurfing - another extreme wake sport

I was in Midland, Michigan yesterday and my colleague their mentioned that his son is into Wakesurfing. I had heard of Wakeboarding, but Wakesurfing is different. In Wakeboarding you are tied to the boat by a rope, but in Wakesurfing you are not tied by a rope and you surf the wake created by the boat on a wake surfboard.
