Hitachi has presented a 13.1-inch monochrome electronic paper featuring a wireless system. The company is planning to place it on the market at a lower price than LCD panels approx. April 2006, targeting applications such as signboards at public buildings. The toner-based electrophoretic paper’s definition reaches 100 dpi.
