Antony And The Johnsons Win Mercury Music Prize

New York band Antony And The Johnsons beat Kaiser Chiefs, Coldplay and The Magic Numbers to win this year’s Mercury Prize. The prize is one of the most influential in the industry and can boost the artists sales – when Ms Dynamite won in 2002, her sales shot up by 700 per cent in the UK.
