GM Deathwatch: GM Bets All On New SUVs
GM have unveiled a range of full-size SUVs in an attempt to save their hides. The 2007 Tahoe is being heralded because it sports a one mile a gallon improved efficiency. Meanhwhile another hurricane heads towards the oil refineries of the gulf threatening ever increased oil prices. The Truth About Cars says:
"[Bob Lutz and Marketing Mark LeNeve are] the guys behind the wheel of a multi-billion dollar company
launching a fleet of the wrong vehicles at the wrong time. And yet
they’re pathologically incapable of accepting this fact or, more
importantly, its implications. I’m serious. This is not the usual
corporate spin. These guys are delusional."
