Official: Google Blog Search Dull – Technorati Sexy

We reported earlier about Google’s new blog search (ok, Guy dumped a link, lazy sod). Anyway: PSFK’s reaction: In all intents and purposes it’s Google with the ‘search only blogs’ box clicked. Considering you could probably put the word ‘blog’ in the search form before to get a decent set of results – Google offers nothing.

We know Technorati – the other blog search engine – has been taking a kicking recently for indexing and speed and falling over – but there’s a difference between T and Google:

Technorati makes blogging sexy. It’s simple, it’s easy, it’s competitive, it’s comparative, it’s got so much more to offer. Think about all those blogs holding hands through linking to each other. Some quite literally having a bit of a snog.

Google Blog Search: probably the most thorough search engine in the world. So what?
