Send Your Car to the Crusher in Exchange for Free Transport
The Wales community of Newport recently offered its residents a deal: You let us crush your car, and we’ll give you a year of free public transportation. Five people took the offer. The cars were all road-worthy with their registration up-to-date. Says the first donor: "The older cars are petrol guzzlers and having my car crushed is going to give me the push I need to use public transport."
