SMS Short Story Competitions

A Shanghai Literature and Art Publishing House, China National Publications and Shanghai Oriental TV Entertainment Channel have launched the first mobile phone mini story contest. In the two months the contest has been running, it has received nearly 2,000 works from all over the country through SMS.

The contest requires all the participating works to be less than 350 words. Usually, one short message can carry at most 70 Chinese characters.
