Toshiba Prototypes Fuel Cell MP3 Player

Now that you don’t buy CDs with their rather wasteful cases and artwork, you will soon be able to get even more eco-conscious with your music. Toshiba has announced a prototype of a fuel cell MP3 player – listen to your music on via Methanol Fuel Cell!

The HDD based Player has a 10ml fuel tank, which provides for a 60 hour play time. The Flash MP3 Player has a 3.5ml tank that holds for 35 hours.
