US Federal Government Kills over 2.7 Mln Wildlife in 2004

this post left me with a bit to think about; the USA as a brand is it doing well? Government expenditure on the below rather than supporting sustainability in industry, as well as opportunities for brands to stand up and make a difference:
Even as some federal agencies spend millions to protect wildlife, another federal agency spends millions to kill wildlife in record numbers, according to agency reports released today by two environmental groups, Sinapu and Public Employees for Environmental Responsibility (PEER). The number of “nuisance” wildlife destroyed by the federal government rose to more than 2.7 million animals in 2004, an increase of more than a million from 2003. read more…
