How extreme are you willing to go to get a cold drink in London? Wear a big thick coat, don some sillyy gloves and sit on a block of ice? At the Absolut Icebar you can.
A new bar in London is made completely of ice and the temperature is kept well below freezing. Built by the folk who did the ice-hotel in Sweden, visitors sit on ice stools draped in reindeer skins and are given protective clothing to enjoy the bars mix of vodka drinks. In a city where it’s hard to get a drink late, the regulars are probably not too bothered about the 45 minute time limit you have to shudder inside.
12 Pounds for entry and a free drink, followed by 6 Pounds a drink…. PSFK can suggest a similar experience for a few quid cheaper: Just stand outside the Coach & Horses anytime after 9 with drink in hand enjoying the ‘Autumn’ weather.

Of course, Singapore is right on the equator, so having to parka up for an evening out is something else altogether.
