An article in USA today suggests that of all the portals, AOL is best placed to profit from the web’s move into digital video. The article argues that AOL’s ties with parent Time Warner will ensure that high quality content will be available to the portal.

The article reflects the views of IAC CEO Barry Miller who argues that the future of entertainment will not be provided by user-generated content  but through high quality ‘hits’.
