Battle For The Bulge: Folk Begin To Ignore iTunes For Their iPod Video Content

DelboyonthevideoipodIn the ‘Battle For The Bulge’ post, I argued that Apple retains an upper-hand in their battle versus the mobile phone whilst iTunes remains unhacked. So it is interesting to read in Gizmodo how people are learning avoid iTunes by using alternative software to rip their own DVDs and TV shows and put them on their video iPod for free. They even suggest that this can be done with shows taped on TiVo To Go.
