John Jostins has been working for years on the Microcab, a small urban vehicle with its only emission being water vapor – it runs on hydrogen.
Each tankful of hydrogen will last 100 miles, and since it does not have any emissions and runs silently, the car can be used indoors and outdoors. It only reaches top speeds of 30 mph, but it was built tall for high visibility on busy streets. The hydrogen tank is gunfire resistant, and all of it’s lights are LED for long life and zero maintenance.
Still in the "pilot" phase, the Microcab will continue to be worked on over the next 3 years.
The Microcab, along with other fuel cell projects were on display today in Trafalgar Square, London.
