San Francisco City Wide Free WiFi From Google

Google is to launch a city wide WiFi network for San Francisco residents. Folk will be able to enjoy an always on connection anywhere in the city.

The impact of a free always on city is enormous: not only does it impact existing ISP services but everything from telecom systems (because of VoIP) to the film and music sector (because of P2P).
