Bedales At Spitalfields, London

60939680_d976bc87b2_tWine-cafe concept retailer Bedales have opened their second store in the new development section of Spitalfields Market in the City of London. It’s a subtle mix of wine store and cafe. Folk sit, watch and read while the staff inside explain the wines on the walls in the back of the store. Not really a wine bar, not really an ‘off-licence’. Something in-between - and spot on. (Some more photos on IF for subscribers).

    The Bedales empire is certainly expanding with discussions about a 3rd shop in West London and Food Parcels, their new online hamper site. I spent a full day last week photographing stock for their hampers and Stephen, Amy and Erin arfe certainly great to work with.

    Really good store, staff seem to really know wines (esp French guy)
