Wine-cafe concept retailer Bedales have opened their second store in the new development section of Spitalfields Market in the City of London. It’s a subtle mix of wine store and cafe. Folk sit, watch and read while the staff inside explain the wines on the walls in the back of the store. Not really a wine bar, not really an ‘off-licence’. Something in-between – and spot on. The Bedales empire is certainly expanding with discussions about a 3rd shop in West London and Food Parcels, their new online hamper site. I spent a full day last week photographing stock for their hampers and Stephen, Amy and Erin arfe certainly great to work with.
