15.3 million Brits, or 52% of the UK’s internet population, now use the web to manage their online finances analysis from GfK NOP. Last year’s survey showed only 21% of the population was using online for their finances.
While ‘short-term’ products such as credit cards and insurance are very popular online, Internet users are still reluctant to buy larger products such as mortgages and open new current accounts.
