Site Visit: Smart/340 Madison

On our way to shoot the new Fila store(check back later this week), IF couldn’t resist our gearhead side and shot the Smart exhibit at 340 Madison. It’s actually in the lobby of the building right next to Fila. The intention of this exhibit is a little unclear, other than it’s cool to look at. There is a banner as you enter that talks about the Smart car in terms of it’s design and environmentally friendly attributes. From what I gather of the space, we’ll see more mini exhibitions of design pieces in the future. Worth the walk a few blocks from Grand Central to check out this space though. The cars are beautifully presented, especially the exploded version.
