&lt;p&gt;There were a lot of &quot;happenings&quot; this summer in Chicago and San Francisco that had a flash mob-esque feel to them. Though I think flash mobbing got kind of squashed by 9/11. Too bad the wave of heightened security is pretty much still around. Why can&#039;t we all jsut get along? lol &lt;/p&gt;
