Godin Launches Squiggleator!!

Actually Squidoo, but we like to big things up. Anyway, marketing ideas fella Seth Godin is behind a site called Squidoo where folk come together and make lenses where they leave their details and favorite RSS feeds. The site blurb says:

Squidoo is a co-op run on behalf of its members, the Lensmasters. We have built an online platform that makes it easy for anyone to
build lenses on topics they are passionate about. These lenses help you
find a unique, human perspective on things that interest you… fast.
Not only can Lensmasters spread their ideas, get recognized for their
expertise, and send more traffic to their Web sites and blogs—they
could also earn royalties.

There’s some way of making money or ‘royalties’ but we couldn’t fathom it (probably due to our attention span) – and altho it’s slick, we’re not too sure what the real difference is between this and SoFlow, AdHoles or even your own blog. Just another dinosaur social-networking tool or something worth raving about? You let us know in the comments section.
