Tokyo Hipsters Club
The THC is the idea of Japanese fashion giant World and built around the concept of ‘aristocracy gone wrong’. They brought in British designer Tom Dixon, creative director of Habitat UK, to undertake his first-ever foray into the realm of architecture. With three floors, including a gallery, book store and rooftop cafe besides the retail space, Dixon described the store to the Japan Times as a “pleasantly brutal space… a piece of antiarchitecture by a nonarchitect.”

Jean Snow went along and took some photos for IF. Check them here: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6

tokyo-hipsters-clubJapan Times has a very detailed review of the space and the products for sale. Worth reading.
