The Eco-Phone
NTT DoCoMo has launched an Eco-Friendly phone, the FOMA N701i ECO. The Foma N701iECO
uses mainly Kenaf fiber in the body material instead of ABS resin.
Kenaf is a biodegradable, environmentally-friendly crop that has been
researched by the United States Department of Agriculture for over 50
years. Weighing in at 115 grams, the phone has a 2.3-inch TFT color
screen and uses a miniSD card to expand memory. Mostly the same as the
N701i model.
