This is the latest image I put up on the Flickr group. It’s an image of someone winning at the horse races. Do you know how it feels to win at the races? You watch the horses come up the straight – your horse is neck and neck with another. You’re screaming, the andrenelin is rushing, the crowd is cheering. What will happen? The final few yards. And you WIN!

What a feeling! Then you go and collect your winnings!

Could a purchase ever feel like this? You bet (ho, ho)

At the weekend I bought a mobile phone off eBay. I entered the auction and watched the time left tick down. If you have ever used eBay, you’ll know that the crucial moment is the last minute. That’s when you compete with unknown others by bidding and counter-bidding to win your prize.

And when I did. I cheered. Hear that? I cheered because I had bought a mobile phone. Wow.
