Maybe this is an indication of the style of common cars that will soon inhabit our highways and motorways – or maybe it’s just another reflection of the poor innovation in American car design. Pontiac and Ford have released details of their new cars. In fact, they look a bit like that beautiful BMW Z3 Coupe that the Germans, sadly, stopped producing a few years a go.

i could just be high, but those two cars look pretty different to me.

Me, too, though the Ford front end looks like a Mk I Prius. It shows that Ford desperately needs a brand—which hopefully its new president will guide.
