This was bound to happen. I mean, Facebook presents such a vivid, live look into a potential employees life, mind, thinking. Heck- it even provides testimonials from friends. If I were hiring someone, I'd probably pay more attention to their facebook profile than their resume.

Not necessarily to not hire someone - but to hire the right person who also demonstrates a mindset suited to the kind of job I'm offering.

Hiding is over (Google Earth, Online profiles. etc.) Organizational Alignment is in. If your going to spend eight hours a day or more with a group of people where you have to pretend to be someone you're not - what sort of life is that? Let alone an example to human behavior and potential.

Office place contortion acts like these are over and being who you are without regret should definitely be in. Whoever lost a job to this exposure were probably spared some hell with a work day full of people who live life too incongruent to their own.

For myself I want to belong to a work place environment or organization where I can offer "Brand Me"!
