Trader Joes To Finally Open In NYC

Finally. Trader Joes beings their goodness to Union Sqaure in Manhattan. We’re looking forward to the introduction of competition and zany shirts into the city. Trader Joes sells decent good food - about 80 percent of what it sells carries the Trader Joe’s label - and popping for some goods is always a treat for the urbanite when traveling through the ‘burbs. There’s some competition - a fine but pricey WholeFoods on Union Square and a glamourous but pricey Balducci’s over on 14th & 8th. But we can’t wait.
