Herbal tea or boiled water with a slice of lemon is my tipple of choice and the new Illuma kettle from Morphy Richards looks a great way to start my day.

In use, the stainless steel finish becomes transparent, lit by a cool blue light – how funky is that (it’s the little things that impress me).
