DJ Spooky At Yale

By Guy Brighton on February 20, 2006

Well, if you can’t really be arsed to listen to some ad fellas tell you what’s what in New York on Thursday, then you could always pop up the road to Boston and see Paul Miller (aka DJ Spooky) give a lecture at Yale on mix culture:

The lecture will focus on some of the art historical implications of digital media, sampling, and collage based composition in a fine arts context and, well, given that the Yale scene is what it is, I’d like to ask if any of you know folks there, to please invite ‘em through. I’d like to have a vibrant and dynamic scene, not a dry academic discussion.

THURSDAY – FEBRUARY 23, 2006 – TIME: 12:30pm – 1:30pm
Yale University School of Art, Holcombe T. Green, Jr. Hall 1156 Chapel Street http://www.yale.edu/art/location.html
